This field holds the title that is determined uniformly for all editions of a work.

To tell apart editions of a work in different languages, a language designation may be added to the uniform title as a qualifier.

To tell apart the constitutions of territorial authorities, the date of the constitution is added as a qualifier in the form YYYY.MM.DD.

Qualifiers are enclosed in "_< >" (blank, angle brackets). Within the angle brackets the individual parts are separated by ",_" (comma, blank), unless other rules apply.

Further sorting groups are separated by "_/_" (blank, slash, blank).

The uniform title is not enclosed in [ ] square brackets.
