Permitted use and rights holder or source

This field holds information about the source of the data and about the permitted use of the short summary or catalogue-card annotation.

The field has a variable structure: the individual data elements are identified by their position within the field and are separated by the delimiter |. Where an entry does not apply, a blank is used. It is not necessary to include delimiters after the last piece of information given.

1st data element

Permitted use (numeric, one digit):

• 0 or no entry — unknown, no passing on
• 1 — use by the library permitted, but no passing on
• 2 — use and free passing on by the library to other libraries permitted, for example via bibdata

2nd data element

An abbreviation for the rights holder or source, in textual form (max. 10 characters).

If this field is filled, field 750c must be filled as well.
