This field holds remarks about the local data relating to the title and to the copy — for example the condition of the work, shelving notes, restrictions on use or the loan status.
The field has a variable structure: the individual data elements are identified by their
position within the field and are separated by the delimiter |. Where an entry does not
apply, a blank is used. It is not necessary to include delimiters after the last piece of
information given.
