Changes#

From version 2 to 3#

Title specification

  • Fields 030, 050, 076, 425p, 535, 544a, B01, B02, B03, B04, B05 and B06 are dropped, as they are not needed for data exchange within the BVS community. The information that is needed is held in other fields.
  • Fields 310, 333, 340, 341, 342, 343, 344, 345, 346 and 347 are dropped, as they were never used within the BVS community or are not needed.
  • Field 750z is dropped following corresponding changes in BVS.
  • Fields 540a, 541a, 542a, 541z and 542z are replaced by fields 540n (ISN), 540t (binding) and 540z (price).

  • New: fields 060, 061 and 062, following RDA.

  • The plain sequence of digits should now be printed below the barcode.
